Create your own unique pieces
In my own lovingly designed ceramics studio, I offer classes on the potter’s wheel and look forward to welcoming you in small groups with snacks and drinks.
In this class, you will immerse yourself in the fascinating world of pottery wheel throwing. After an introduction to the basic techniques—from the correct preparation of the clay to centering and pulling up the walls to shaping—you will be able to create your own vessel step by step. Whether it’s a bowl, mug, or small vase, you decide where your hands will guide the clay.
Throughout the class, I will be at your side to help you develop a feel for the wheel and create your own shapes.
After the class, I will carefully trim, glaze, and fire your pieces. After about 5–6 weeks, you can pick up your finished ceramic pieces from me.

Duration:
2.5 hours.
If possible, please arrive 15 minutes early so you have time to settle in before the pottery session begins.
Please also allow an extra 15 minutes at the end of the course for cleaning the potter’s wheel and work area.

Two ceramic pieces are included in the price. Each additional piece incurs an additional material cost of €12/kg of clay.
I will glaze your pieces with a transparent glaze.
This course is for two people. Each participant will have their own potter’s wheel for the entire duration of the course.
